    I have a child theme setup but when i activate it I lose all the customization I’ve done in the parent theme. In my child style.css I’m using:

    /*
    Theme Name: JustWrite Child
    Template: justwrite
    */

    @import url(“../justwrite/style.css”);

    I’m wondering if the css for the parent is not all in the style.css file. It’s the first child theme I’ve set up and it’s driving me crazy.

    Your changes aren’t saved in style.css. You can activate the parent theme and check its page source, your changes are located between:

    and </style><!-- END Customizer - Saved Styles -->

    You can copy/paste that content in your child theme’s style.css.

    Or you can make the changes again in Customizer.

    Thank you! That took care of it mostly. Had to redo a couple settings in customizer.
