Why do they lie? Marketing!? They actually lie because they want to create buzz, for example some of them at the end of every month, they have a special article about their monthly earnings and of course they can write any amount of money they want. That’s the all magic, noobs come, see that huge amount of money and start to think: “Hey look at this guy, he makes 10000$/month, I’ll try out anything he recommends because it’s so easy”. And the noob tries all the thing the guru says and with the time passing, he realizes that making money online isn’t so easy and of course he gives up.

2. It’s not your fault that you don’t succeed! Experience is all you need.

Yes, it is not your fault! Mr. Guru tells you stories actually, because the only money he makes is trough you, who reads his blog and clicks on his affiliate links. The only good thing in this story is that you’ll gain experience if you don’t give up, because in this way you research for new techniques and you’ll see that without investing money, time and passion, making money online is quite impossible.

3. Internet Marketing Gurus vs Competition!

Let’s say Mr. Guru writes and article about how he made 1 million $ online because he wants to share this information with his readers. Come on, you have a business that earns you money and you share all the information? Why would a wise guy do such a thing, to ruin the niche and bring more competition. Actually he writes such an article knowing that you’ll never succeed and because he is a real “internet marketer” and uses huge numbers, he creates that buzz. So everyone links to him, his traffic grows and he makes money from the newcomers noobies.

4. There are three types of Internet Marketing Gurus!

The ones who really make money online and don’t share any techniques.
The ones who make money and share only general information, nothing special. The only difference between this type and the above one is that they make money on your head and you gain experience following them and not succeeding.
And the last type – scammers – copycats who don’t have even one website with decent traffic and monetization. They only talk of ways to make money online, techniques which are with a question sign for them too! This type represents the majority and here is a good example of internet marketer which tries to promote his website and a product. Pathetic!

First of all because all the three letter domain names were discovered and bought in 2005-2006 and nowadays they are so expensive that you can buy a new car or house with that amount of money and as we all know money influences everything, especially our pour minds and all the guys who are in search of making money online very easy with a small investment are a lot, so in 2007 all the four letter domain names were sold and now we see the results.

Secondly, they are a bit stupid. Why? Because a person who buys domains like ykqx.com for example with 100-150$ and after builds web directories or parks them on sedo is damn stupid. Domains like the one above are useless, no keyword, unpronounceable and hard to keep in mind. Instead of buying such domains you should search for names that are pronounceable, brandable and are much cheaper.

I don’t see any practical reason to buy such domains, only if you want to dream that one they you would be able to sell it at a doubled price (only dreams). Don’t be stupid and waste your money on such domain names only because people say so.

Also from my experience I know that a great domain name creates a good impression online and makes you influence people and eventually they will buy your products if you are selling something (this is the main reason why bloggers should buy their own domain). Here are a few advices you should take in consideration before buying a domain name:

Domains should represent something
Search for something that makes sense, if not search for something that is easy to pronounce, memorize and of course, is brandable.

Google loves your domains
Search engines love keywords so you should try to add a keyword or two keywords from your niche in the domain name.
A big mistake is to copy, avoid duplicating domain names with different tld extensions. You risk getting sued if we are talking about the name of a big company or it can rise against you.

If you want a domain name which has four, five or six letters you should take in consideration premium letters.

Q, X, Y, Z are lower quality

This will add value to your domain and it will make it easier to pronounce and remember.

A few days ago I was searching for a new form of advertising, because I have a new website that needs some fresh backlinks and so I found TNX.net, which in my opinion brings something new for advertisers and for publishers as well. A few months ago I hired someone to code me an article directory script and at the moment it is 80% done. The fact is that it’s not an ordinary article directory script, it has some futures that I specially requested and the most important one is grabbing articles from other free articles directories. First things first! How many readers did you manage to “lay hands on” this year? If you have the rss counter from feedburner activated for your blog you should go ahead and look at your statistics! If your number of readers has increased over the months with at least 10+ new fellows then you should continue writing in your niche, if not you should think about changing your topic. Another great way to know how many fan readers you have is to analyze how much direct traffic you had every month and compare the charts (use google analytics).

What did you do that you were really proud of in 2007? You managed to increase your traffic, your readers or simply you found the solution for the biggest dream of the year: how to make money online from blogging. If you have traffic you make money, if you make money you have traffic, it’s simple! Now I don’t want to say that I am an example of a good blogger because I am not. This year on this blog I didn’t manage to post every day or monetize it, because I had other projects. I am happy that I learned some new things, monetized some sites (not blogs) and created some free wordpress themes that brought me some back links. The thing is that I am seeing a big increase in everything I do and I will continue to do it as best as possible.

After creating this file, I uploaded it to my ftp and then I began searching for Hi5 profiles that had over 10000 views. Almost all of those profiles were rather pornographic than a normal users profile and so I didn’t care about destroying them, because they were useless ( I don’t know how hi5 is allowing such adult content on their website or maybe it is just marketing). So after finding those most viewed mature profiles, I had to post a comment like the bellow example to redirect the viewers to my website/s:

Most of those profiles were on ”auto-accept comments” so it wasn’t a problem to get them accepted. Then the magic began, tones of traffic and a simple way to make money online. The funny thing is that in the first month I managed to get one check from google adsense with 3250$ but the next month, I got banned, I think for artificial traffic or something like that and so my journey with Hi5 ended.
As you can see now I have another account at google adsense, this one on my name, because my ex account was on my brother’s name and address.
In conclusion  it was a funny period but for 3250$ who wouldn’t post comments on hi5. I don’t know if this hi5 hack still works, but you can try and see or maybe it works on myspace. Besides that I think that social networks are a good source of traffic, the only thing is to know how to explore them.
