Yep, the Google Adsense Blog has announced some important changes for the default adsense referrals system. So if you use this type of advertising you should change to another one because you won’t make money out of this, only if you have the patience to wait a long time. Here are the changes that will take place during the last week of January:
For every person you referred to become a publisher for Adsense you’ll get nothing, just 100$ when he makes 100$ in 100 days. The big problem is that only North America, Latin America, or Japan publishers can use this referrals system; persons from other regions will not be able to use it, instead they can use the other products listed under the ‘Referrals’.
Adsense is starting to become annoying with this type of changes. You can see more info here
This is a good question if you are involved in blogging for over a year. Why? Because it’s time to review what really worked for you in 2007. It’s a good idea if you take one hour from your time and think about what you have realized this year, with your blog or in your niche and so you will be able to figure out if it is worthy to continue so or change something. For those who don’t know that Google added new referrals to their advertising program go to your adsense account in Referrals and you will see that they have a lot of affiliates that pay good money to sell their products.
