Acosmin v3 free wordpress theme – here it is
As I promised you in this post, well here is v3 of acosmin wordpress theme. It’s free and you can download and use it right now, because the all structure is easy to edit, the only thing I request from you is not to delete the links from the footer.
A preview of this wordpress theme you can see right on this blog or in the image bellow with all the ad spaces and other thingies.
Features
Well as you can see it has three columns, because I like to have a lot of space and options. In the right sidebar you can add a lot of things and plugins like related posts, random post etc and in the left one you can add 125x125px ads or a 120x160px skyscraper, also in the header you have a 468x60px ad spot.
A new feature for me is sIFR, it’s my first time with this method and if you see some bugs please send me some feedback.
For the “logo” I included in the pack the PSD file and the font so you can edit it with Adobe Photoshop.

Hello.
One problem found testing your theme. If you’ve comments related plugins you must disable them or this theme will disable you from accessing the admin panel and the blog crashes down in flames.
Had to erase manually all the recent comments, most commented, top comment plugins in order to bring back the backbone and the blog up.
If you disable the eraly it works like wonder.
PS: by the time im writting his comment, this parragraph is not shown . Seems that the scrollbar isn’t working or disabled some how.

Another Bug found. If you have AdBlock Plus extension in Firefox ON, all flash images or titles or sIFR will have a green background.
A workaround is to hack the sifr.js file in this point and replace with the Hex color background color you’re using.
Find where says N=”transparent” and place the hex color. N=”#333B3E”
It will allow Adblock users to see the site ok. Like myself.

Thx for the info Scyfox, I’ll work on it. For the plugins, to disable them you should go in functions.php and delete the one you want. Then also delete them from the theme and it should work fine
Oops. I’m in trouble again.
It seems that the search input isn’t really searching. the action button contains a value of
bloginfo(‘home’); I thought it was incorrect and i’ve changed it to search.php but eather way it is not searching.
Could you please give me a hand on this?

I think I released this theme kinda early and it’s a bit buggy The search form should look like this. 
I’ll try to repear it tomorrow.
Later edit: I tryed to search for something on my blog and it dosen’t redirect me to the homepage. It works fine. Try to search on my blog for “blogging” or something else.

I Really really need your help. I’ve tryed changing completely the search input but it still isn’t searching anything. It looks like the ‘S’ variable that keeps the term that you try to find isnt beiung used . I do not know how the search input works in your theme. I’ve looked the index.php, header.php single and side300.php to try to find how it handles the S value but no luck at all.
I don’t want to change to the centered version since we really liked the lefty one, and all the minor bugs we already fixed them.
Hope you can help us out with this. In stuck big time.

I’m in the process of migrating my site to your AMAZING theme. Everything is great in firefox, but the RIGHT sidebar appears on the bottom of the page when opened in IE 6. (Screen resolution 1200 X 800, using WordPress 2.5) .. the temporary site is here :

well I don’t really know how it looks in IE6 because I don’t have this version. Could you post a link with a printscreen. By the way
IE6 users are not important, if they don’t know how to update their windows..
Hahahah Admin, I agree with you.. Users from my site told me about it. It seems a lot of business’s still use IE6 !! I found the problem though : IE (Because it’s retarded) automatically reshapes the sidebars based on the content. I had stuck the SEARCH BAR in the left sidebar widget and although it LOOKS like it fits, it created a large empty space to the right of it. I removed it, problem solved.
(I will add it to the right side bar instead)
I’m having another strange problem now, but have no clue if it’s related to the theme or wordpress 2.5 that I updated on the same day. The theme has AUTOMATICALLY switched to the wordpress classic theme 3 times on me today, although when you go to THEMES it does say that yours is the one selected. The only way to get it back is to select another theme, then select yours back. It’s very strange …
With all this said, I LOVE your theme, it’s AMAZING and just what I was looking for… (www.techienation.com) hopefully you’ll see your theme and not the CLASSIC one… (I’m keeping an eye out for it, trying to see what makes it occur, I even deleted ALL other themes, and eventually I went to load my site and it just didn’t load anything until I did the’ol theme switch-a-roo !!
